The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my class will be used to target the various learning styles of my students. The literacy and writing activities will be used to enhance the reading and writing skills of my students. Some of my students are learning to identify letters while others are learning to decode CVC and sight words. The easel will be used during shared reading for a more interactive learning while targeting social and academic skills. The category sorting activity box and write the letter activity will be used in centers. The space saving paper center and magnetic shelves will be used for organization for better classroom management. A contribution to this project will help me bring meaning to the quote by Ignacio Estrada which states " If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn."
