The materials that I am requesting for my students are going to be put to good use. I know exactly how everything will be used. The bean bag chairs and the wobble chairs will be used for differential seating during independent reading times and when students need to get their "wiggles" out. The presentation cart will be used as my kids present their various projects throughout the year. Our first one is coming up as they run for office as the President of the United States. The portable boom box will be used every day as we have music. My class loves to sing and we sing all day long as part of our language experience. We sing songs of character, songs about nouns, continents, Presidents, and being responsible as well as many other things. The donations from this project will help my children experience learning in many different ways and settings. In addition to the equipment listed, my students also need some picture books for our classroom library. I read to them daily and we have no library yet so I will be building it up with this as a start. I think it is important for every classroom to have a great library for the students to be able to enjoy their free reading time.
