Our community here in Lafourche Parish has been devastated by Hurricane Ida. Many of our students are displaced and/or have major damage to their homes. The same is true for our staff. Right now, we are all in survival mode. With all that being said, I think that everyone is happy for the routine of just being at school. We lift each other up and help each other out as much as we can. It's heartbreaking to drive through some of our neighborhoods to see the devastation. We are on a long road to recovery but will get through this together.

About my class
