Currently, my students sit and work at a desk all day long. After lunch, my kids tend to be less engaged and focused. Flexible seating will allow for collaborative learning to take place during math class but will still allow the kids to meet social distance requirements. It gives students options of where they want to sit and work that makes them feel comfortable, focused and productive. By giving children control of their surroundings and environment, you create comfort that allows for engagement, which is linked to higher motivation and success. Overall, flexible seating allows students to learn where and how they want.
