With 25 students in two grades and only four working computers in my classroom, children can't learn how to effectively and safely use technology. Thus, extra Chromebooks in the class would help students independently read, code, research, practice math skills, and so on -- while I work with small groups. Because technology is paramount to the future, children need to have the experiences of using computers safely. By learning to safely use the internet in a classroom setting, students can apply these skills at home. I have a wide range of abilities with a combination class. By having Chromebooks for students, I can differentiate and make learning both meaningful and engaging for each student.
