I am a huge advocate for hands on learning and this project would allow my students to do just that. I would love to do several lessons in math and reading that would allow them to become little surgeons and “dissect” things we have been learning about and working on. To make learning fun and engaging, I would love to purchase white jackets, gloves and face masks to make them feel like surgeons! We would use it for learning about contractions, text features, picking apart parts of sentences, math problems, arrays, and so much more! The possibilities are endless and these can be used over and over again for years to come.
