I am still using tape players and a CD player for a listening center. They are constantly needing batteries or breaking. It's not a very productive resource. I don't have any student computers. So, having a few Kindle Fires would update my classroom technology tremendously! Kids today are very familiar with these devices. There are so many learning apps out there that my students could enjoy using. I would use the Kindle Fires for math and language arts centers. I can see my students really being engaged with their learning. It would be a tremendous help in bringing fun learning to my classroom.
