My students range from very creative and independent to co-dependent and forgetful. Some would like to have a medium to express their year in a savvy manner (digital) while others would be just as happy to have a picture. Some of my students get their homework done the first night it is given while others tend to try to rush through it before the tardy bell rings. As far as behavior, I have a great group that are usually kind, generous and thoughtful. All of my students want to be successful in school, some have a bit more external challenges that create detours in their thinking and actions. I think that these materials would allow me to reach out to those that don't always feel success in the typical manner. I would like to assign the struggling students to take the pictures and guide the savvy students to create a final project together.
