I will be using these Kindles, with headphones, to ensure students have a wide variety of text at their exposure in order for them to learn read and actually want to read. The Kindles will give students the library needed for success in reading and so much more. With this type of technology, I am sure that students' love for reading will increase at monumental speeds. Students will have the opportunity to gain access to a world of fictional and nonfictional texts that a small classroom library simply cannot give. The Kindle Fire Tablets will be used during our literacy block for students to listen to books online. Each student will have the opportunity to listen to stories each day. The Kindles will help in all subject areas because the students can work on math and science skills with age-appropriate games and applications.
