In our classroom, we have 29 5th graders. It is hard to keep the attention of 29 students when they are receiving direct instruction! It is also incredibly difficult to engage them in the lesson at hand when they do not see exactly what you are talking about. With a document camera, all of these things will be more accessible. A document camera will help to show students what is happening in experiments, read alouds, and other everyday tasks. The camera will also allow me to model the expectations and lessons more effectively, helping all 29 of my students to learn and grow throughout the year.
