I want a comfortable place for the student to rest when he/she is ill. The existing cot has worn out padding and is very hard to lie on and is therefore very uncomfortable. A new recovery couch will enhance the student’s comfort and allow the student to rest before returning to class or awaiting pickup from the parent. I already have a screen that I can put around the cot. The student will have a bit of privacy and can therefore feel more comfortable when feeling ill. The original cot is probably at least 25 years old and hopefully this cot will last that long too.
