My students need an environment filled with the enjoyment of reading and hearing a good book. The books and storage shelf will make a difference in my students learning by allowing them to learn social skills through books and give them a way to manage their materials. The students will listen to a story that sends a positive message through fiction. The storage shelf gives them a place to store their books as well as their creative drawings of what they liked or learned from the story. Many books and shelves were lost in the flood, but reading is one way to bring learning as well as enjoyment back into the lives of my students. The students will feel more comfortable in an environment that is organize and rich with positive messages.
