Albert Einstein once said "To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science." Its really important for my students to use their imagination to think of new ideas and have the engineering skills to put those ideas into action. It is all to common these days that kids do worksheets day in and day out. I am positive that with these supplies I could transform my classroom into a class of inventions and wondering into a class where children want to create contraptions. With these materials my students will follow the steps of engineering with excitement. The steps are for example: imagine, discuss, put forth a preliminary design, execute and most important learn from its shortcomings. For isn't it true that scientists are born from these!
