Not only is measurement important in science, it is also necessary in farming, engineering, construction, manufacturing, commerce, and numerous other occupational fields. Determining the mass of an object using a digital scale is an important skill to have in the science classroom. Through the use of digital scales, student/scientists will learn to distinguish the differences between grams and ounces by measuring a variety of substances. With your help, students will have the proper tools for measuring and comparing mass.
