Flexible seating is especially helpful to students with ADD, ADHD, and ASD. Giving the students in our classroom the opportunity to have flexible seating gives them control over their learning environment. The stand up desk will lift them up & increases their productivity. Each student has a leadership role in our classroom. One of those roles is the class archivist. We need a camera to shoot pictures of the things that we do in our classroom. Students will learn how to manage our class blog using pictures. And last, multi-genre magazine articles will increase our reading stamina -so we can outscore!
