Our students are very special to us because they don't have a lot. When they come to school, our goal is to create a place that is welcoming and at the same time, fun to be at. They don't have much at home. Aside from having a great school, the library and the gym are great places for them to have fun and learn at the same time. Our school is just a few miles from the US/Mexico Border and most of our students are of low economic status. They absolutely love reading and playing when time permits. We use playtime as an incentive for reaching reading goals and to also allow them to have fun during P.E
