I am in need of two additional Chromebooks for our classroom. Collaboration is key in today's world; students will be able to use the Chromebooks for research and to contribute to joint projects using google docs after researching their projects. In addition the students will use the technology during literacy centers to build their reading skills and build on strategies using I-ready and other reading programs in the classroom. Having the set of Chromebooks will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. My classroom is not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap.
