Welcome! This is my 16th year teaching. I've taught kindergarten, first and second grade. I'm currently teaching second grade in a rural area that is quickly growing. I have a M.A. in Inclusive Early Childhood Education and a Reading Endorsement. I usually teach an Inclusive classroom. This means including special needs students in the general education setting. My passion is differentiating my instruction to best meet the needs of my diverse students. I've known that teaching is my Calling since the age of 7. Up until that point I had been a struggling reader. At the age of 7, after countless hours of tutoring, I read Green Eggs and Ham on my own!! It was such an amazing and proud moment in my life! I knew in that moment that I wanted to help kids achieve that amazing feeling and develop a love of learning!
