My students will have the opportunity to do reading, writing, and math using their own individual Chromebooks. This will allow them to use iReady to practice math and reading skills, as well as submit work to me through Google Classroom. In addition, my students will practice their keyboarding skills, which is an essential skill as they grow and move beyond first grade. For some students, it is difficult to write down their ideas. I am hoping that working with these Chromebooks will help them get their amazing thoughts and ideas out of their heads and onto the screen. Technology is an integral part of our world and that is why I believe it needs to be utilized in the classroom.
