I am requesting keyboards, headphones and styluses for my students. All of my students have access to an iPad through a school grant. However, many of the features on the iPad that can help my students are not easily accessible since they don't have the needed accessories. These technology accessories will help my students better access their grade level curriculum and provide them greater opportunities to express their knowledge. My students who have handwriting difficulties will be able to use the keyboards to type their responses to questions quickly and effectively. The headphones will allow my students to use features like text to speech both in the resource class and in their general education classes. The styluses will allow for more precise writing and drawing for various collaborative and individual class activities and assignments.
