My students are hard workers and put a great deal of effort into their own learning. However, they need some help in order to be successful. These students are extremely visual learners, especially when it comes to math. They need manipulatives and visual to help them better understand the concepts being taught. This is especially true when it comes to word problems, fractions, and money. They could use these various manipulatives to help them solve the problems and be successful. My students can also use some help when it comes to literacy. These pens will help them read unknown words. They will be better able to define and learn new words with these pens that will help them decode the words. The laminator will enable me to make aids for the students to write on with dry erase markers such as multiplication tables or word lists for literacy. All of these items will give my students the tools they need to be successful.
