Our students will have the opportunity to use iPads as a platform to practice their literacy and math skills with highly interactive and engaging research-based online programs. Students will work in small groups, alternating between individualized teacher-taught lessons and computer-based programs. The programs assess and monitor student needs, and provide multiple, varied opportunities for students to practice handwriting, reading fluency, math skills and understanding. Classroom and special education teachers will use data to inform practice across all academic areas. The reading program is specifically designed to address dyslexia concerns, decoding errors, and promote reading understanding. The math programs promote math fluency and automaticity and opportunities for skills generalization across subject areas.
