Since my students have a variety of learning abilities, I want to be able to differentiate what the expectations are for assignments and projects with all students. By using a blended learning approach, I will be able to create a learning environment where students who are able to, and can learn the basic concept we are working on, and then they will be able to extend their learning. Students in a blended environment use computers to explore concepts like problem-solving and collaboration on ELA assignments. They are guided by the teacher rather than taught what to think. Enough computers in a classroom are a necessity for this 21st-century style of learning.
