Ukuleles would help our students have the opportunity to learn through play. It would allow them to experience a higher level of responsibility to care for a more valuable instrument, and it would show responsibility to be in charge of playing that instrument long-term. It is an instrument that many students have access to at home, but do not have the access to learn it well. This opportunity would also empower them to continue their musicianship outside of school in a social setting or if they are by themselves. My students are excited and anxious to begin this journey. Thank you!!!!

About my class
