Most of my students don't have access to Internet when they are home, by giving them tablets to work with in the classroom they are able to become comfortable with a new resource to assist in the learning process. Having tablets in my classroom will allow more of my students to get the necessary practice they need. Our scholars use i-Ready to track this progress. The more time students have on i-Ready the faster they will improve areas they are struggling in. i-Ready and other websites such as Starfall give students an alternative and fun way to practice skills.
