Sitting still is hard for most adults, imagine being a kindergartener during your first year of school and having try to confine your natural movements. Students will be using their Kid Kore Wobble Chairs to fully engage themselves while working in small groups. Movement is a key component to learning! Giving these students the opportunity to move freely and safely while remaining seated will give them a greater advantage. Adding this component to our classroom will increase the positive learning environment, giving the students the choice of mobility within their personal space! This element of fun will give the students something to look forward to when working in a small cooperative and engaging group. The play-dough will help the students develop the fine motor skills they need to perform everyday tasks such as writing. Students use play-dough to build a variety of words, helping them to increase their vocabulary. Organization is a necessity in any classroom. The labels and highlighters will help the students stay focused on important tasks. Having these materials make the classroom run smoothly, positively influencing the learning of the students.
