This project is meant to engage the students by incorporating technology and academics. With this project, students will develop higher critical thinking and problem solving. Kids need to be presented with problems and challenges that allow them to use those analyzing skills to solve a problem. The Osmo and iPads provide them the opportunity to think critically in an engaging and kid-friendly manner. I want to build a strong foundations of problem solving and critical thinking for my students. I believe that providing them the challenges this project allows for is doing just that. The great thing about this project is that it can transition into science, math, and word development through the different kits Osmo provides. Here the students are active participants in their learning. They are learning through touch, feel, and exploration. This in whole is a multi-sensory tool for teaching.
