At our elementary school we have a mentoring group, the PEARLS, that targets 5th grades girls. These young ladies are revered as leaders in the school. They sponsor several projects that not only help our school but serve as outreach to the community. A few of the activities these young ladies have sponsored are Toys for Tots, Can Food Drives, and Tyson A+ Box top Fundraiser for school improvement. If my project is fully funded each member of the organization will receive a blazer. These blazers will not only make these young ladies stand out as model students throughout the school, but encourage other young girls to follow the same path.
