Having dedicated classroom Chromebooks for my students will give us more opportunities to do research projects using the Internet, work together to make PowerPoint presentations based on knowledge gleaned, and write essays using word processing tools. Students also read books for comprehension and need to take tests on the Internet assessing how they have understood the material. This gives them immediate feedback and encourages them to keep reading. My students love to work collaboratively, in small groups, to make presentations on the Chromebooks. They use them for such assignments as news articles, graphic organizers, and editing each other's work.

About my class
