Our class is up and running again after the Louisiana flooding. As we are moving, we are noticing some gaps in what we need as a class to really accomplish our goals this year. We may be at our temporary location for longer than anticipated, so I want my students to feel safe and comfortable here, something that I feel I could facilitate better with a rug to conduct my circle time. My students love center time, I am hoping to have more activities for them to "play" with at this time, I want them to learn and take ownership of their own education through center time. We are missing things such as many of our math and science centers, and headphones for our listening stations. I feel like these items will really engage my students in their center time, and keep it fun and educational for them. We have no textbooks or curriculum materials. Because of this, I am in desperate need of a printer. Our school as of right now, does not even have one we can use.
