My students work on producing sounds that they have in error in various contexts, like in words or sentences. We add games to make it fun and interesting. Your contribution of the Speech Buddy Tool would help maximize their production during structured tasks more quickly and keep them motivated to reach their ultimate communication goal. So often, if a student does not see progress soon enough, they become discouraged and frustrated. These tools will make this process easier and students will be able to demonstrate mastery in complex tasks more quickly. Using the speech buddy tool students will have tactile targets that will help their tongue placement for targeted sounds. From there, they will be able to generalized this skill into words, sentences, and conversation. This will also help them when reading and spelling!
