Reading is very important to young learners. Supplying my class with an array of novels can build their vocabulary as well as enhance their comprehension skills. The printer will allow my class to print novels that we may not be able to receive a class set for. Building a library in the classroom allows you to build a 5th graders pride, integrity, and mindset. "The more you read,the more things you know, the more that you learn, the more places you'll go," words created by Dr. Seuss. Students learn to love reading, when they are given options to read. Creating a literary center can allow students to learn about both fiction and nonfiction novels written by some of the best authors. I want my students to know that reading is not only fun, but also fundamental.
