Kindergarten is the foundation for most children's educational experiences. When students are able to develop skills in their early years of school, they have a much higher chance of excelling throughout the rest of their educational endeavors. One of the most exciting time in a kindergarten student's year is Writing Workshop. During this time, students are able to express themselves creatively as individuals, tell stories about their lives, or teach someone about a topic in which they are interested. The items I am requesting will help my students progress through the early stages of writing, instill confidence, celebrate diversity, and encourage and motivate. My students' writing journals are one of their greatest sources of pride each year, the pencils and crayons will help them express their thoughts, and the document camera will help students display their work for the whole class to see at once. Please help support our young writers. Thank you!
