Having a circle rug will allow the whole class to sit together comfortably and create a community of learning. We will be able to spend more time on the floor exploring our materials and modeling. This would help with a sense of community. The Sensory table will allow my students to explore and do more hands on science experiments. We would be able to observe pumpkins and their seeds. As well as in the spring we will be able to put our newly hatched baby chickens in to observe their behaviors. Teaching at a brand new Charter School, one that focuses on exploratory learning these two items would make a huge difference for my students.

About my class
