This conference has been on my radar since it was released. Reading instruction has been something that I have been working on and growing in as an educator. I believe that reading translates to all subjects and if our students can become good readers and writers then they will begin to excel in other subjects as well as life. By attending this conference, I will be able to provide my students with a literacy-rich environment full of cooperation, collaboration and communication. I want my students to have the maximum amount of practice, success and failure opportunities to become problem-solvers, strategic and proficient readers and writers and independent and confident students.

About my class
