Our students have been given an opportunity to take part in a program that was cut many years ago--BAND! Music education is so important in shaping young minds and can open many doors for these kids down the road. Many of our students do not have the means to rent or purchase an instrument or the accessories to go with them. To build my band program, I rely on grabbing the attention of students in my general music classes by making lessons fun and interactive. Any opportunities we can give them to be excited about learning and excited about school are so very important and life changing.
