My 4th grade classroom consists of 24 amazing students. We focus on Utah Pioneers, rocks and fossils, as well as the weather. We sit at tables made for conversation and group work. My classroom has everything at student level for easy access. I allow students to use whatever resources they can access to succeed. Being able to help my students learn through hands-on activities is a big part of us being in an Expeditionary Learning school. We are service based as well, so students learn to give of themselves in order to realize their full potential.
