Welcome to my Filmmaking and Broadcast Journalism classes! When I took over the program four years ago I had 18 students and no working cameras. Since then my program has grown to 148 students and has won the Utah High School Broadcasting "Best News Show" two years in a row and won in several categories of the Utah High School Film Festival, including documentary, music video and PSA. With that growth has come a need for more state-of-the-art equipment. One of the reasons I love teaching at Copper Hills High is the cultural diversity of the student body. Most of my students come from lower income families and are excited to let their creativity fly in writing, storyboarding, producing and editing films. By choosing to donate to our classroom you will be helping their filmmaking dreams become reality. Thank you so much for your time and generosity!
