My students would benefit from these two trumpets because they are light. My students start learning mariachi music in the second grade. It is very important that the weight of the instruments does not become an impediment for young students to start learning. Our school district has had mariachi bands for more than 15 years now and the culture of mariachi is very important for our community. Our students have the opportunity to meet our state standards for music by playing a style that is part of their ancestors' heritage. San Luis, AZ is a border town where 95% of the people share Mexican traditions.
