I am a fourth grade teacher at a small elementary school in a rural community in central Illinois. My students are eager learners who love to find the fun in our day to day lessons. My classroom is a vibrant place where I try to make learning engaging and exciting for my students. My love of travel has spilled over into my classroom, and you will find it filled with maps, globes, and tokens from my adventures. I use my travels to bring the outside world into my classroom and enrich my students' lives. Our class mission is as follows: Together, we will strive to do our very best to grow as readers, scientists, writers, mathematicians, spellers, historians, and, most importantly, thinkers. We will treat each other with kindness and understanding and create within our classroom a welcoming environment for learners of all ages. We will conduct ourselves respectfully and responsibly everyday.
