Even though this is my first time using DonorsChoose.org, I hope to eventually gain enough points to provide laptops for all my students. But I would be extremely grateful for at least one laptop. I would like to have at least 10-15 laptops in an area in my classroom where students can enter first thing in the morning and develop science skills in areas they don’t excel in. Computer programs have become so fascinating these days that students do not feel like they are involved in a learning process and consider these programs more like a fun activity. We also have several programs that we encourage in our school like Edcite, Gizmos, Study Jams and so on. These laptops would really help students do fun science activities that will also help them learn. These donations will immensely help my students with technology skills they require in order to gain a better understanding of the subject.
