This is the first year in our school district that each student has their own laptop. We are truly excited that we are able to utilize all of the great resources the internet provides. The only problem is many of these resources have sound to them. I can tell you that in a classroom of 25 students if you try to have all 25 of them listen to something on their computer it makes it extremely difficult to focus and extremely loud in my room. I have one set of headphones and it would be wonderful if my students had the opportunity to be able to listen to the fantastic things that the resources can give them.
