My classroom is filled with active young learners who come into my room, eager to learn each day. Different seating options will allow for a variety of use in location/activity (table learning, floor work, computer time), and will make certain that every student has flexible seating options to choose from. Having seating selections such as bouncy chairs will allow some of my energetic students to release some of that extra energy, while maintaining focus on instruction. Having bouncy chairs will help to ease some of the fiddling and is a better alternate method for releasing extra energy. I would love the opportunity to provide my students with more flexible seating options.
