I am happy to be returning to 5th Grade this year! My school boasts a highly diverse group of kids; dozens of languages are spoken in my district, and our school is no exception. Kids get to learn about different cultures and ways of life just by being here! We are a high-poverty school with a 90% free/reduced lunch rate at my school. Regardless, our kids are funny and bright and as excited to learn as all children should be. I LOVE coming to work every day. They are a big part of my life, and I hope I am a big part of theirs, too. Building a vision of the child's future is a primary concern of mine. I want them to be able to see themselves in positions of success as they approach adulthood. They are already writers, mathematicians, scientists, and artists. Thank you for helping make their learning AWESOME!
