Some students are unable to check out books from our library for a variety of different reasons. I believe it is important for them to have SOMETHING to read while in the library that is of interest to them and is age appropriate. Not all students want to read a whole book and magazines can offer current, real life articles that are engaging to students. Our library would also like to work on building up our Makers Space to include more STEM-related items. I want my students to have a love for reading, and be excited about STEM! It would be beneficial for them to see that reading can be fun, and learning about science, technology, engineering, and math can also be fun!

About my class
