Science comes alive in the lab. To students, science becomes interesting and fun in the lab. To the teacher, the lab provides opportunities for students to measure, calculate, analyze, and write it all up in their own words following the steps of the scientific method to reinforce a scientific concept. It is important to give students the tools they need to measure accurately in the lab. Without correct measurement, student calculations and results will suffer the consequences. When labs do not come out as expected, the results are confusing to students instead of clarifying the scientific concept that they are studying.

About my class
