My students love to read and play with puzzles. By incorporating both into the library I can make the library an enjoyable place to be and encourage students to become lifelong readers that truly enjoy reading! I see primary students for 60 minutes, and sometimes it is difficult to keep students focused. With the use of puzzles I can encourage reading and good behavior amongst the primary students. I plan to read aloud to students for the first half of class, 30 minutes, and then allow students to use puzzles for the second half of class. Students will be excited to read, learn, and play in the library.
