Students will be using the iPad Mini's in a variety of ways in our classroom. Our school is located in southwest Detroit, which is primarily a Hispanic community. Many of our students are English language learners (ELL) or newcomers to the United States. They would use these iPads to log onto to apps to help them have fun and learn at the same time! I would also use these iPads during math and reading centers. I find my students become so engaged when working on technology, they don't even realize they are learning. They are simply playing a game! I would also have my students participating in research using the technology from this project. The uses are endless with these wonderful tools and my students learning would benefit tremendously!
