Our school is a K-5 school and is a high-poverty, 85% free or reduced lunch, 85% Latino school and classified as an under-performing by the results of state-wide testing. Our class is 17/22 Latino, 2/22 African-American, 1/22 White 1/22 Asian-American and 1/22 Arabic. Most important is they are sweet as sugar, high-energy, thirsty for knowledge and motivated to learn and succeed.
