I would love to create a classroom environment that inspires and motivates my students to stay active and engaged in learning. This project will provide opportunities for students who have difficulty learning to have choice in flexible seating and to participate in STEM learning projects. Flexible seating allows students to become more engaged in their own learning. The wobble seats will provide the sensory input that many of my active learners need to stay attentive and focused. STEM projects will motivate and engage my students, will support all other areas of their learning. Through play and discovery students will learn critical thinking as well as math and science concepts by creating authentic learning experiences. Collaborative learning projects will support students in developing essential communication and social skills. These materials will support the unique learning styles for all of my students.
